- Operate the Boeing 777 as Captain within Air Atlanta Icelandic's global network.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations in accordance with company SOPs and international regulations.
- Collaborate with flight crew and ground personnel to maintain high operational standards.
- Adapt to various operational bases across multiple international locations.
- Participate in training and familiarization programs provided by Air Atlanta for Non-Type Rated Captains.
- Uphold professional conduct and represent the airline positively in all interactions.
Base of Operation: Several international bases (nearest international airport).

Responsibilities
- Daily Fee payment plus additional Per Diem for days on base.
- Overtime allowance for hours above 65 within rotation (max. 30 days).
- Hard days premium for work outside rotation schedule.

- Flexible rotational options: 21 Days ON / 14 Days OFF, 21 Days ON / 21 Days OFF, or 24 Days ON / 12 Days OFF.
- Transport provided at base and lay-over stations.
- Return flights between country of domicile and base provided for each rotation.
- Accommodation provided at lay-over stations and bases where aircraft are located.
For accepted NTR candidates, a full Boeing 777 type rating will be arranged, including travel and hotel during ground course, simulator training, and base induction. Training duration is approximately 2 months, with a fixed training allowance applying. Standard Daily Fee and Per Diem commence from the start of LIFUS.
In case of NTR candidates being accepted by Air Atlanta, a type rating will be arranged by the company.
Travel and hotel will be arranged by Air Atlanta Icelandic for the full course (travel to ground course, hotel during ground course, travel to sim training, hotel during sim training, travel to base). The TRTO takes approximately 2 months, depending on the planning. It is carried out by Air Atlanta. The CBT home program starts 10 days before the official OCC date.
For the complete CBT + TRTO + SIM training, a fixed training allowance applies. The normal Fee and Per Diem applies from the start of LIFUS.
Minimum qualifications
Must-have:
- EASA Part FCL ATPL with valid ME/IR.
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language proficiency level 5 or higher.
- Total of 6,000 hours flight time, with at least 4,500 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft; OR 5,000 hours total with at least 4,500 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft, including 1,500 hours as Commander.
- Last flight preferably within preceding 6 months.
- Valid EU or UK passport.
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience on wide-body aircraft.
- Familiarity with ACMI operations.
- Strong adaptability to varied operational environments.
