All you need to know about this position
- Operate the Boeing 777 safely and efficiently on international routes in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Lead the flight crew as Captain, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and best practices.
- Conduct pre-flight planning, weather assessment, and route briefing.
- Oversee all phases of flight from take-off to landing, maintaining high levels of situational awareness.
- Coordinate with ground operations, maintenance, and dispatch teams for seamless flight execution.
- Ensure compliance with EASA and ICAO regulations and operational manuals.
- Mentor and support First Officers, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Represent the airline positively when interacting with passengers, crew, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Competitive daily fee plus additional per diem while on base
- Overtime allowance for hours above 65 within rotation, up to 30 days
- Hard days premium for days outside the rotation

- Flexible rotation patterns: 21 ON / 14 OFF, 21 ON / 21 OFF, or 24 ON / 12 OFF
- Transport provided at base and layover stations
- Return flights between country of domicile and base for each rotation
- Accommodation provided at layover stations and bases where airline aircraft are stationed
- Full training logistics arranged – travel, hotels during ground course, simulator training, and OCC
- Fixed training allowance for CBT + OCC + SIM, with normal fee and per diem commencing from start of LIFUS
Minimum qualifications
Must-have:
- Valid EASA Part-FCL ATPL
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid EASA Boeing 777 type rating
- ICAO English Language proficiency level 5 or higher
- Total of 6,000 flight hours, including a minimum of 4,500 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft
- Minimum 1,500 hours as Commander
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on Boeing 777 (may be included in total Commander hours)
- Last flight preferably within the preceding 6 months
- Valid EU or UK passport
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with ACMI or charter operations
- Additional aircraft type ratings
- Multi-lingual communication skills
- Recent long-haul operational experience
- Familiarity with international regulatory environments and diverse operational contexts
